Just have to bitch ... [
!]
I am 90% sure I am going to buy a Certified Pre-Owned G. I have the year, color and mileage pretty much set. I have been watching the MBUSA website for months pricing them and looking for the right 'one', and been pretty happy with the site up until recently.

Everyday, I check the site, put in a "National" search from my "Zip Code", and if the number of "matches found" is the same as the last time I checked, I just log out. If it is higher, I see what's new. Very easy, and all's cool.
So, two weeks ago they take off the number of "matches found". I e-mail them and explain it's value, and tell them since it's 25 cars per page, I can just count the number of pages and add the remaining to get the total, so why make it more work for me? So, they put it back on last week.
Then last Friday they take away the "National" search option, and only let you search up to "1000 miles" from your "Zip Code". I e-mail them and explain that they advertize a "National" search site, but don't allow it. Besides, any idiot can enter numerous Zip codes to get all the cars anyways. So once again, "why are you making this so difficult?". They still haven't put the "National" search option back ...
But, when I do put in numerous zip codes, so as to get all the G's for sale in the U.S., it now only lists about 70 total. Last week it was over 90 available. So they are playing games with the "matches found" ... why I don't know, but having watched this site for months, the total has always been between 85 and 95 available. With the 2002's leases running out, and more having been sold in the U.S. over the years, the number should be increasing. It has never been below "82 matches found".
I wish they would change it back, so I can find one easily, and not spend 30 minutes comparing the searches from various zip codes ... and where did the 20 go over the weekend!?!?
