I thought so too but i checked the back seats and they are properly fixed...Fold down rear seat back not latched?
Yes, it goes away within a few seconds... kind of annoying tough...Every time I start my engine I see a similar symbols in the cluster as well . However, it should disappear a few seconds after you start your engine, mine goes out
I believe it must be related to seatbelts ,the trick is to press back button (top left hand side of the steering wheel ) to make it go away w/o waiting .I will give it a try todayYes, it goes away within a few seconds... kind of annoying tough...![]()

Ohhhh, great thanks! but it is very annoying“Rear seats do not have an occupancy sensor. This is why the info must be shown every time. Your car is reporting that rear seatbelts have not been buckled. It is your task to judge if there is someone sitting at the rear and if one or more seatbelts should be in use.”

Coupe, not rear doorsDo you open the rear doors before setting off?
I have had another car (non-MB) that would indicate this only if the rear doors had been opened.
Oops! Sorry, I missed that rather crucial little detail.Coupe, not rear doors![]()
