Does anyone know how to get the marker lights out of the 212? I assume you have to remove the headlight to gain access. Anyone have an easier way?

On another note, does anyone know where to purchase a shop service manual or DVD series for the 212 other than Mercedes?

I took them off recently. Turn the wheel to the inside of the car. You need to take off 3 of the plastic plugs by removing the inside pin all the way. One plug is underneath the car by the front fender, the other two are on the wheel well.
You then have to stick your hand inside the wheel well by the fender and undo the plastic clip on the side marker and then carefully remove it. I may be able to get a picture of it if you need it.
I would be interested in the DVD shop manual for our cars if you get a lead on it!!!

2) pull the front fender liner from the fender with a good yank; make sure you don't lose the fastener that pops out
3) turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and pull the bulb and socket out from the inside of the lens
4) use your fingers to pull out on the rearmost side of the lens and-once it is free from the fender-pull backwards towards the rear of the car to free the front of the lens from the bracket inside the fender
5) reverse the process with new lens and then reinstall the plastic fastener that popped out

Does anyone know how to remove the front interior dome light covers? I am trying to replace the bulbs with LED's. Thanks!

I just put in my tinted marker lights on my e550 and the only thing that isn't perfect is the front of the lens will stick out about an 1/8 inch because they had to make the clips a little looser so you can swap them out while the bumper is on the car. They look great though....
