Well i bought map sensors from the dealer but i believe they sold me wrong sensors they sold me part number 006-153-99-28 i do not know what the original part number is but ever since i replaced the map sensors the car start up is weird and has a rough idle. I assume coils are bad but the symptoms started right after the map sensors were replaced. I replaced the map sensor because i had a fault come up once or twice. I even bought a meter of oem hose for $35 to replace the 4" hose that attaches to the intercooler. I ordered the airbox map sensors too but still waiting on them.

Hi,

Like I tell everyone :grin ............

Get yourself a copy of MB WIS / EPC then you can check part numbers against your VIN :wink

And I'd get this car a good session on SDS, not just a code read, but looking at live data, actuations etc so you KNOW what is OK and what is suspect...........

If you like working on MB SDS really is a must have, continually buying parts in the hope it will cure faults really will cost you more than a few hundred $$$ for SDS :wink

Cheers Dave

Open the EPC and use the search, F11 I think. Then select the top tab for search without vehicle details ( I forgot the correct wording) put the part number you have in the search box and hit enter. This will give you a list of models select yours. Now you will be at the part list page for the part with a list of the previous numbers for you.

Okay thanks alot they sold me a0061539928 but they also told me its "not" listed for a s65. I am assuming that is the same part number for the sensor on the intake manifold under the voltage transformer.

These are the current part numbers for map sensor for the m275. I just order all of them by the way p/n 0061539928 is for cdi models and the dealer sold that to me instead of 0061539828 i will consider that "Human error".

Airbox map p/n (2x)
0051535028

Intercooler map p/n
0061539828

Intake manifold map p/n
0051537228
