Are you sure you typed the correct VIN? It keeps coming back as not found.
OK on much closer inspection of the number the two "0" I have on either end actually look like mini merc badges so maybe try
114.015-20-182189

Could the Reason the number not found be this car was actually made in germany and never meant for import

That link's not working for me........I can get diagrams and part numbers on the EPC but no data card...Same as on here ??????
mmmm ok then more issues it seems have been told when I purchased it that its a 72 and checked the wheels and steering wheel boss and they both confirm this but alot of the parts are alot earlier than 72 so hence the confusion

If only could find my VIN number on that site as it looks like a real good site

Model year is unimportant. The car is a W114 RHD 230/8 with a manual transmission. Where does the confusion lie?

Well a model year is kind of important as I need it to register the vehicle

In the US, the vehicle title would state the model year. 230/8 was only sold in the US 1968-69, and yours is certainly newer than that, I can tell from the serial number. My guess is 1972 or newer. Have a look in the driver's door jamb, you may find a production date there.
