I found this thing towards the back of the tranny on the passenger side. It slides into the tranny with a bolt and there is one electric write attached to it. I have no idea what it does at this point, but the bolt is proprietary and has three different O-rings on the shaft. The last O-ring near the bolt head was completely hardened and the assembly was producing a fair amount of tranny oil everywhere. About the only real oil problem I have left.
It's on Page 4 in the EPC under Major Transmission Group. The part itself gives the # and says; 6 Bar 12volt. It's being energized by the wire...but for what purpose?
Just a head's up if you see tranny ATF in this area.:thumbsup:
