MAF sensor VS. K & N

I've heard that on some other makes of cars equipt with MAF sensors have had problems because of the oil used for the K&N. The only thing that I can think of is the oil might be sucked through the intake and messes with the MAF calibration. Does any one have any thoughts, facts or opinions on this?
