time to bite the bullet and wheel out that 7 year old paint job someone else did.
and had hood/front bumper repainted. still need to compound the hood.
done with USA made SOUIX heavy duty hand held buffer- it weighs a ton !
but it does a good job.
started with Dupont rubbing compound and Schlegel "A" wool pad. (1" pile)
then Dupont #7 polishing compound, and Schlegel "C" wool pad. (1.5" pile)
then hand waxed 3 times with liquid turtle wax.
saved the paint but it's getting thin in places....
