Hi guys,

when the outside temperature is below 50°F, my enginge makes this "whisper"noise at cold start. When i drive about 4 miles it disappears.

On thursday my mechanic is goin´ to check my drivebelt.

Have u ever heard something? It´s not the typical ratlle noise from the chain.

When the belt is taken off, spin the idler pulleys and pulley wheels on the alternator, a/c compressor, power steering pump, water pump, and tensioner. Check for any grinding sensation, noise, wobbles, or physical damage.
If the belt is changed, I would suggest you do both idler pulleys as well as preventative maintenance.
