Hello all. My car has m271evo engine. Approximately a year ago check engine light turned on. So i managed to scan the ecu and error was P001762 and P001700 (The position of the exhaust camshaft cylinder bank one is implausible relative to the position of the crankshaft. The signal comparison is faulty). Then after a few minutes ecu managed to turn off the check engine light. As far as i know m271 engine has something with bad cam wheels. Yesterday also check engine turned on again and disappeared in few minutes also same error code stored. No rattling noise when starting the engine. No any other strange symptoms while driving. Today,the check engine light has came and disappeared. Should I change the cam wheels or ignore the message for now? mileage of the car-97000km. Thank you!!!
