I changed the valve cover gaskets on my 97 sl600. About a 10-15 hour job. I had the intake and covers powdercoated chrome while I was at it. Here's a link to a vid I made, might help someone:

Bravo!

I have the valve cover and intake gaskets and am looking to purchase 12 new/cleaned injectors next; then I'll do mine.

Do you mind stating what the powder coating/cleaning cost?

Looks very good.

Thanks for the props. Each valve cover was about $110, intake about $125 for the powdercoating. For anyone in the bay area Arenas in San Jose did good by me. They said they had to bake the valve covers four times and re-coat them twice because of all the oil leaching out of them. They did a great job and didn't complain though. :)
