converted to manual throttle bodies with cables.
424 horsepower at the rear wheels.
this is what I was talking about in other thread, cut the weight
right idea but it's a 4 door, that's the only downside

Yep same as the Nissan other thread, he's using a chassis which isnt way overweight to begin with.

(laughter...) that's not the point,
he's using another MERCEDES car, not a damned rice burner !!
I guess it's time to spell it out...
you don't take German V12's and put them in rice rockets, that's a sign of pathetically poor automotive tastes...
it's like having sex with your sister or mother...you just don't do it
and you don't ask why not, you should already know why not...
it's taboo.
you could tape a rocket to the roof and light it too, that would be really fast...
like the coyote on the old roadrunner cartoon...
adapting Toyota wheels onto a Mercedes Benz isn't cool....
it's just stupid.

It's not something i would do personally either but it's highly subjective topic. Sounds like you hate Japanese cars from the rice burner comment but what would you be saying if someone put it in an Amercian car instead?.

hell no to that too, even moreso !! the M120 V12 in an American car, would be an even worse abortion !!
that's like asking would you prefer incest with your sister, or your mother...
answer: just don't do it !! terrible idea !! repulsive !!
besides, from the practical standpoint...unless you have all the built in computer controls to run the engine, that the MB car has, it will be a total compromise anyway. it really belongs only in a Mercedes !
and...a vintage American V8 with carburetor(s) will make more horsepower and run better than an M120 anyway ....
just ask Ferrari, after being beaten like a dog by the GT40 at LeMans, 4 years in a row....
