I have a chance to buy a set of camshafts from a Euro spec 560 SEC. I have confirmed with the seller that the cams have 117 17 on them and the 2 digit code on the back is 25. The service manual confirms this to be the "RUF" cam. Is this cam a viable performance upgrade for my USA spec M117.968. It will have tri-ys but is otherwise stock.

Thanks

The problem with swapping cams around is there's still an unexplained gray area in terms of the US cars accepting such modifications gracefully. Euro cars used different EZL modules, had adjustable dials, whereas US fixed. Still a lot of questions in this regard.

Thanks for the reply. I have seen that and I am looking for a Euro ezl as well. By what I have searched on the threads, it seems that this is the correct cam.

I have the EZL dial and wiring available if needed John
Not sure if you need the ECE dial too, but I have them both still...
