Hello,
My car start to make these weird sounds about a few months ago.
M113, 73000mi. currently leaking valve cover.

After letting the car for 4+ hours, or a completely cold start, it makes a weird sound. it goes away immediately,
Sometimes it starts normally, it is sort of a random thing.

This video is revving after a cold start.

The warm-up engine doesn't make that sound.
Here's a video, warm startup, and running sound.

Has anyone had a similar experience?
I am suspecting bad timing chain tensioner.

Sounds fine to me . If you are worried about a lifter tick noise on start up , head to the freeway and cruise at about 4000 rpm for about a minute in whatever gear needed .
Just keep the hood closed , drive the car , and change the oil and filter every 5,000 miles.

Is that lifter ticking? Did you also watched ‘weird sound’ video I posted for a reply too? I thought it is more like timing chain noise, like tensioner fault so I was panicking for a moment. It sounds pretty big!

It sounds like you changed brand of oil. Try Mobil 1 Euro car and see if the lifters settle down. The other noises on cold start video are smog pump and a mild pulley whine which are normal.

There is some thumping in last video that my 500 doesn’t make. Pull into a service place with actual mechanics and have them take a listen.
You can also hold a wood rod against spots on engine and hold to your ear and hear where it originates.

these sound recordings are of no use, it is very selective and weak levels.
you can hear the sound tho, I can't pinpoint the sound because I have no clue where it is coming from, and I don't have a good mic device too.
I am talking about the weird sound besides ticking and going up when I rev it. not tapping, more likely bearing sound. I have no clue, because this is first time hearing that. I am not seeking specific location, I just wanna know what should I check to find noise-making part
