What kind of mileage are you getting out of your M110. I can only get 15mpg out of mine, city and highway mileage is the same, 15MPG. I was getting 13 then I switched to 93 octane, and I get now get 15. Pretty sure my odo is correct. Is this normal, I think it should be geting alittle closer to 20. Thanks

I drive about 75% highway (with the occasional high speed run, and some 55-60 mph driving to even it out) and 25% city and usually get close to 19mpg in my 280sel. I'm sure I could probably get a little better if I changed out the original plug wires, cap, and rotor and a few other things.

78- 280TE: 17liter/100km (i was young, had a lead foot)
76- 280S : 14liter/100km (two years ago), not bad for an old carburettor..
Both did 11-12liters/100km on highway driving.., both with automatic transmission.
I found that the Mpg given in the cars driver manual is what you can expect.., even when the engine is not new anymore.
Newer models are better than older off course :)
