Hey ya'll,
I put a new m102.980 in my 1984 230ce.
Problem is it didn't come with a fan and I can't for the life of me find anywhere to buy one.
The fan clutch just has three bolts to hold the fan and a nut in the middle to hold the clutch.

Any insight greatly appreciated Air cooled mercedes aint fun!

The solid fan has a part number 1022000523, or 6162050506 (which was used on the G-Wagen and has been superceded by 6162000823). It seems the 200 and the 230E used the same fan.

The M102-powered W123 was the second-best selling W123, so parts should be easily available on eBay from Europe.

Maybe I should go and check the differences between the 240D fan and the 200 fan...
