I have an opportunity to purchase a set of like new 15" Mercedes 8 hole chrome wheels at a great price. The only information the seller knows is they were used for a short time on a 230SL and he bought them to put on his 190E but he says they rub. He does not know if the 230SL user used spacers or not. They include center caps and the set of 20 lug bolts.
I want to use these on my W126 (1991 560SEL). I'm afraid without knowing the offset I might be in trouble. I don't mind using hubcentric spacers but how do I know what size spacers I will need and, wouldnt I then need to purchase longer lug bolts as well? I love the price but I'm nervous about them fitting.
