I just put some Lucas tranny oil in my tranny, It seems to shift gears better. And i also bought some Lucas Oil Stabilizer (but havent put it in yet). What do you guys think about these two products???

Some people SWEAR by Luca's Oil Stabilizer. I'm not sure about it, I heard it makes the oil frothy and foam up. I just use Mobil 1 Synthetic 15W30 motor oil in the 300D, I'm not sure what weight is used in the 300SD, all I know is that it's Valvoline dino oil since my dad primarily drives it now.

I'd use the stabilizer, maybe some STP too, if they still make it, and hey, I understand that a high or irratic idle can be cured by slathering the underside of your hood with Miracle Whip.

The transmission additive is the best product ever. Completely changes the smoothness of shifting in my car!! I add some everytime I change the transmission fluid!! (I am obssessed with transmission maintenance)

yeah, i frequent a site called Bob is the oil guy, and he has a demonstration of lucas oil additive. look and see for yourself. after seeing the pics, i dont really trust it.

As far as tranny additives go, Trans-X has been reccomended over on MS, and there have been quite a few testimonials on how good it works, Its in the SD, but I don't know if it's a "frother" like Luca's though.
