Does anyone know for sure if these will fit the stock ML430 7 spoke wheel? I need new tires soon and i really like these. Will the width be similar to the stock 275/55/17 tire? I want it as close as possible.

Thanks!

They will fit. Specified rim width for the tire from BFGs site and the Tire rack is 7-9"
The ML 430 wheels from the factory are 8.5" wide.

The only bad thing is this tire is almost 2 inches larger in diameter (and narrower) than the current wheel/tire set-up on the ML. Will this decrease the acceleration and have the same issues as with going with 20 inch rims?

Anybody have pics of their ML will BF All Terrains? Would like to see how it looks with the white letter tires (or should they be turned around to have black walls.)

It will ride better than the 20"rims as there is a lot of sidewall to help out.

The 2 inch height difference is a bit of a concern, but with the V8 you won't notice much.

Why not go with the 255/65R17? They are about $28 more per tire, but are 1.6" less
diameter.
Also a good light truck/suv choice and the fitment is closer to OEM size.

Thanks for the advice. I really dislike skinnier tires and though 255's arent that much narrower than the 275's, im just not sure. Maybe i will go with the 265/65/17 ( thought they only made 265/70's but i just found some 265/65's) as a compromise LOL? I think our MLs look SO good with the wide tires i hate to give that up.
