I have a 1990 420 sel. I’ve been looking into lowering it and I found h&r springs. Is it required I replace the shocks as well? My car doesn’t have sls either. And will I need a alignment afterwards it’s 1’2 drop.

Is it worth the effort to change the springs for a lower ride height? I found a set of springs on Tire Rack that says up to 1.4 inches depending on factory ride height shims. Also would I be able to keep my 16' Centras on there if I lower it? They Currently have 235/60/16 tyres.
