I Just have upgrade my 98 e320 stock wheels to brabus
18 x 8.5 with 235x40x18 rubber.
I want to lower without sacrificing the the ride
comfort.
Any suggestion are welcome... Thanks

Eibach is pretty comfortable or like shutting said...

just change the pads. Pads are cheap but they won't lower the car much.

1. H&R springs, stock shocks - too bouncy
2. H&R sprin...


Here is what I tried on my E320:
1. H&R springs, stock shocks - too bouncy
2. H&R springs, Bilstein Sport shocks - too firm
3. AMG springs & shocks & sways - pretty damn good

If I still had it, I would have also tried the Vogtland springs with Koni adjustable shocks.

What size are those rims and tires?
Just bought a silver 1999 e320.HOw much did you spent on lowering the kits and brand name.THanks,PI
