What do you mean by lowering ? The CLK 55 has 10-way power front seats..

Just lower it using the levers on the left.

I doubt it's possible without a few work arounds:

1. You can get a different seat
2. You can do extreme body work through the floor of the car to lower where it connects.
3. Why lower the seat, why not raise the roof?
4. Open the Sun Roof.
ca-brea5b-192.stmnca.adelphia.net

You can take out the rails which is approx. 1 1/2 inches and bolt the seat directly to the floor...

Only thing is, you'll lose the power seats.

Tnx Mach 430. I like the seat, particularly the 4 inflatable sections.

I just thought that 1' lowering would be no problem. The MB dealership will not do it because of safety issues, so I will live with it as is.

Somehow, I am still too close to the low - very low - driving position in my 2001 Corvette, which I traded in June. This memories will fade into history with time.

In the meantime...there is a 2002 911 Porsche...
adsl-61-114-111.mia.bellsouth.net
