Hey guys,

Since I bought the SEC the temp gauge has been reading on the low side : slightly over 60 C.

I changed the thermostat yesterday, but the reading is still the same.

So where do I go from here ? Are the senders prone to 'partial failure' ? Or could there be something wrong with the gauge itself ?

Thanks,

Pete

Yep, the sender can be faulty, had the same with mine, low temp, changed stat, still low temp but not as bad. Turned out both parts had been at fault. (Stat was a non MB replacement not that long before, replaced with MB.) New temp sender and spot on after that. Mine read the same temps, a bit above 60 c.
