Hi group! Last summer my sons and I purchased a 1980 300TD with the intention of converting it to biodiesel. Well, no time to make the refinery, and no veggie oil easily accessible either. So we just started having fun with the car. It really turns heads at the local high school when my son shows up with it! The plan now is to do a semi restoration (parts cost too much to do an all out restoration) and just enjoy it. We have really learned alot about old Mercedes diesels more by trial and error than anything else!
