I also had the nox sensor issue. Replaced both upstream and downstream sensor. The car was fine for 5 months, then the upstream nox sensor failed again. Its no need for new software after replacing the nox sensor, but the learned values / adaptations for scr / nox must be resett. After the secound nox fault at my car, i reprogramed my ecu to NO adblue / nox. So my car runs without adblue, and nox sensors is inactive. No other tuning, like more power and such.. ONLY adblue / nox off. Its wonderful to get rid of it:)

Hi! Sorry for the off topic but I also haf Adblue and Nox isolated, but 300 km after that I have dpf soot sensor failed. Did you also made DPF off, because my mechanic said it is a MUST to delete dpf with adblue and nox.

Hello, NO, thats not true. If the remap (adblue off) good, its no need for dpf off. My dpf is still in place;) And the dpf does a automatic regeneration about every 1000 km. But, if the remap is bad, you can get dpf problems as you describe. It was a Russian expert called VladimirCdi fixed my adblue off firmware. He is very kind and very helpfull. And the car is fantastic. You can find him at youtube;) Watch here: Mercedes GL350 DEF AdBlue total DELETE in 2 min cars and vans No soldering No ECU open just an OBD2 - YouTube

I did the adblue / nox off in september 2020, 9000km ago. Its no other tuning like egr off, more power etc.. ONLY adblue / nox off. The car is amazing, and no following issues. VladimirCDI sends you a obd plug, inside the plug its a micro SD card. At the SD card its two files. 1. The untouched factory firmware. 2 The NOadblue firmware. When you plug the connector to the car, a menu show up in the command screen. And you can revert the firmware back to factory / orginal when ever you want. Its very easy, and the flash only takes 2-3 minutes.

Great! I contacted VladimirCDI on ebay and I am waiting for him to reply :) Did you check the DPF condition any soon? I am curious if it is dirty more than the usual, because the Adblue system also help it to clean
You can contact Vladimir at: [email protected]

You should not worry about dpf, because the adblue injector is behind (downstream) the dpf, but before the cat. So, adblue does not clean dpf. Its never adblue in dpf. But, i have heard many people say the got problems with dpf, after deleting adblue / nox. But thats because the remap is not good. Vladimir is maybe the wourlds best Mercedes software / firmware engeneer. I have star / xentry, and i monitoring the soot level in dpf.. After regen its 0 % then after about 1000km its filled to 100%, and then the automatic regen starts. After 20 mins, the dpf is back to 0 %.
