I have a 2005 C320 4matic with the stock radio, no navigation. I have seen similar problems while searching this forum, but not mine specifically. I was driving today with all audio functions performing perfectly. I stopped at the drycleaners for about two minutes, and when I started the car back up the radio lit up, but no sound came out. Thinking it was a problem with the FM station, I switched stations, still no sound. I then noticed that the softkey for my Sirius was no longer available. I tried both the 6 disc CDC and single disc CD, but both returned a message saying NO CD. Has anyone experienced this issue, or have an idea of how I can fix this problem?

Absolutely, your MOST fiber bus is not working. "Why" is the more complicated part. It could be something as simple as one of the devices is hung, and pulling the battery for an hour or so will clear it up..

More complicated is one of the devices is playing up, and that's caused the problem - even worse would be a broken fiber...

If your car is under warranty, have the dealer take a look at it. If it's not, it gets a bit more complicated, but basically you need to bypass each device on the fiber bus to see which one is creating the problem - time and labor intensive...

In addition to what UK-C200 said, you could also have a loose fiber optics connector at one of the devices on the loop. Check the phone bulletin for your car at Phone Bulletins for equipment locations.
