My 93 SL 600, my dream, my nightmare, was running SO fine yesterday.....Started up this mroning, easy start, sooth idle, started down the street and thought that somebody had stolen 6 of my chipmunks!!!! My "otter" matic transmission was shifting, very erratically ( I checked the fluid, it's fine) and I thought that I'd have to pedal up the hill!!! I have plenty of exhaust, out of the rear pipes, so I don't think that it's a clogged "converter. No idiot lights on and I don't smell any thing that is burned.. Air filters are new, so I don't have restricted intake..... Any ideas, out there????

slipping transmission? is it still doing it? go to a mechanic... a qualified good one of course
