I installed my deck lid a few weeks ago and documented the procedure. Didn't have time to post it earlier.

Materials :

* Betaclean - To remove extra glue that spreads to unecessary areas.
* Betalink - The black glue
* Sandpaper - To sand down contact points of the deck lid
* Spatula - To remove bulks of glue

All these come with the Lorinser deck lid.

* Plastic Gloves to protect fingers from glue
* Masking Tape

This procedure assumes that the decklid has already been painted.

Step 1 :

* Sand down contact points

Step 2 :

* Using BetaClean, clean off areas of the trunk to remove wax, dirt, etc.

Step 3 :

* Apply Betalink glue to the contact points of the spoiler. The trick is to put the thinnest layer a few mms from the edges of the deck lid. This avoids having to remove glue that spreads out when attaching.

Step 4 :

* Replace gloves
* Align decklid and attach pressing down firmly on the whole piece.
* Using BetaClean, remove excess glue. It took me about 10 minutes to clean the edges as I put too much on some sides.

Step 5 :

* Once clean and firmly attached, put masking tape on several areas to keep it in place.

Step 6 :

* Rest and drink a beer ! You're done !
