I have 2001 C240 with 90K, My extended warranty ran out, can someone help me out by recommending an independent mechanics/repair shop in North West Suburb of Chicago?

I am also looking to replace my Smart Key, found a brand new key being sold on ebay please see the listing eBay Motors: Mercedes Benz Keyless Entry Remote - Smart Key (item 110122544137 end time May-07-07 16:07:00 PDT), will the dealer be able/agree to program it even if it was bought online?

I have searched the forum to find a sticky or a thread that gathers names/locations for independent repair shop by states, but did not find any.
I am suggestiong to build or create a list for our future use if this is possible

I dont think you can buy a key off ebay and have it programed , i bought one a year ago and i had give them my Vin # ..so i do believe you cant program keys just like that ....??
