Hello,

a friend of mine asked if I could help finding some Euro parts for his 1989 560 SL (R107) chassis. It is an American car and would like to replace the head lights, front bumper and fog lights with euro version as they look so much better. Same with the back bumper. Is there a website anyone can suggest?

Headlights. EBay. Look for the non vacuum ones. They are less likely to have adjustment problems. His model is not equipped for vacuum adjusters. Finding a pair with good shiny reflector can be a challenge. The amber side lenses are also very hard to find. Clear glass lenses are still available for around $55.00 each. Be prepared to pay $800.00 to $1,200.00 for a good to excellent pair.

Bumpers. Make sure the lower valance on the rear bumper is attached and in good condition. Try to get the four mounting brackets with the front bumper. North American 1972 and 1973 107 models are the same as Euro bumpers except they have two vertical bumper guards. Prices on these are all over the place.
