All,

New to the forum.

I am looking at the possible purchase of a 2017/2018 GLE350
RWD.

What issues do these have? It is a CPO anything that they should have replaced. The two of them have about 30k-40k.

Generally, speaking what is their reliability?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Sincerely,
Rafael

I don’t have the GLE but the 2013 ML 500 has been just beautiful and still is.
Rear Shocks change at 70 000km
All brake rotors replaced at 90,000km
Small leak in a Y pipe fitting to the heater and that’s about all.
Has 160,000km on it now and I service it every 10,000km.
So I would imagine the GLE should be as good.

PARK ASSIST issue
I purchased a 2017 GLE350 Base and discovered issue with the Park Assist in order to prevent the Blue Park icon notification that Park Assist is turned on each time I start the motor I must manually turn the Park Assist button off which on that push button leaves a red light on it (as in owners manual it states not to drive with Park Assist icon on) this is an issue as if you leave it on the vehicle tries to auto park when your stop or drive very slow! Is there a way to setup Park Assist to automatically turn off when you start the vehicle engine?

I have a '17 GLE350 4matic (fully equipped) since new. I've got about 92,000 miles on it and it has been dead solid reliable. I maintain it almost religiously and don't do stupid human tricks while driving, so that always helps. As long as the maintenance records for the ones you are looking at are comprehensive and complete, you will have made an excellent choice.

Thread was three years old. Not dust and bones but rotted enough no one wishes to gaze upon it again. Closed.
