I want to upgrade my wheels from 15" to 16" or 17". But, I prefer to have wheels with the polished lip. I've been searching various wheels and I found these at GMP Performance:

In the 16" size the offset is 30. Will a spacer be required?

Hey Photoman. Just found out that they will not fit due to the offset. I don't want to go to 17" and definitely don't want to add spacers. I'm trying to maintain the stock ride as close as possible.

Spacers alone won't affect the ride.

Hey Cyberdrakon.
What about the safety issue of spacers? That's what my main concerns are. I guess I need more knowledge on how spacers really operate when it comes to making wheels fit.

I was using 15mm spacers the day I took my SEC out onto Laguna Seca Raceway. Slid it through corners, hard on the brakes at the end of the straights, etc. No problems. That was a couple of years ago and they're still in use. Just make sure they fit snug into the wheel and onto the hub.
