Having a ball ache of a day so far. Went to the local Merc dealer to find out how to remove the headlamp after undoing the 2 toip screws. Huh, we wont tell you that, you will have to bring it here and we will do it for you, Yeah right, and drive back home with a headlamp missing. Plod will be impressed.
Then in a blinding flash of light........BenzWorld, of course, sure enough its all there on how to remove the headlamp.

I am trying to re install the front wheel arch studs that a so called approved by merc, body shop snapped off. Just stuffed the liner back under the arch and wedged it so it would not drop out. Could'nt even fit the new bloody wing properly, so I made them do it again...tossers. [All because some dippy reversed into the car and stuffed the wing.
Anyway, I digress, where on earth is the locking wheel bolt socket hidden in this vehicle, I need to get the front wheel off, but its a special star shaped socket. Please, any clues. Looked in the tool bag, but nichts.
Anyone with some clues???:surrender:

There is a slot on the left side of the trunk where tools and the first aid kit are originally stored. It extends into a blind slot about a foot rear. Some items are stored inside the spare wheel and/or spare wheel compartment.

:)Problem solved everyone, the body repair shop where the repairs were done,
removed the wheels to have them refurbed. After giving them a grilling, seems as thou they fprgot to put it back in the tool kit. So now I have a bright new shiny one.:):)
