Locking Mechanism Assist Vacuum Pump
Thanks to Peter Guenther, I was able to determine that my problem with the Locking System was the Vacuum Pump located under the rear seat, THANKS, PETE!!
] Now, the part # is 140 800 32 48 (02). I do not know what the 02 means but I am including it anyway. The question is, does anyone know how much this part costs? Are there refurbished parts like this one available? One final question, if it was you in my case, would you replace it with a refurbished unit or brand new??

there some guy on ebay who has been selling many of these door-lock pumps, brand-new, made by bosch, supposedly for less than half the price of new...

I replaced my PSE/Central Locking pump last month on my S Class w140. It is my understanding, Mercedes no longer makes model specific PSE pumps on certain MB cars. MB has moved to a "universal" pump and you are required to "retro" fit the new pump using hose adapters and hose plugs. It's really not a complicated job.
