Hello folks, my 01 cl500 has been vandalized for the 3rd time. Idiot neighbor kids are being idiots. Keep getting soda poured into the gas tank. i can tell now just by the idle at start up. So i drain the tank, flush it, waste more money on gas, a new filter and injector cleaner. and for fun also change the oil and filter. This is the 3rd time and i am sure my cats are getting abused. So long story for a short question.....Wher can i get a locking gas cap ? My ML320 has one. Of course the CL has a different cap that has moving parts {how over done can you get ?} Have tried all the parts houses and even the dealer, all say not available. Do i need to mickey mouse the filler neck to fit same as the ML ? Any and all suggestion are appreciated as wife and i are tired of it. Thank You in Advance,

If the car is locked, the cover on the gas cap should be locked as well. Are they breaking past this lock to get in, or has the Pneumatics failed for the lock?
