As the subject says, I need to either clean and/or replace the EGR valve on my 1998 230 (non Kompressor) due to the P0400 code it is throwing. If it is fairly simple to get to, I will clean it and the tube first and see if this fixes it. If it is a pain in the a$$ to get to, I will just buy a new one and be done with it so I only have to do it once.

So where is it on the non Kompressor 230?

Thanks

Bob

Thanks - what a PITA to get to. I love this car and it has treated me well for the 166K miles that i have put on it but I think it is time to let someone else enjoy it. The past couple of months has been costly in ownership. I do great maintenance on it but with it being 14 years old, things are starting to go bad. The fun of driving it is slowly fading away
