Hi all,
The wifey is looking into that C230 Sport Sedan with the 1.8, Desert Silver, moon roof, heated seats, 17" tires that sorta thing bla bla bla.

She's got a limited budget while we have a child in college but needs a car now. She's in love with the car, to me, it seems like there's plenty of power in the car, my Grand Cherokee had 190 hp. I know its not as "frilly" as the C320's more expensive range, but its still got the looks, and Benze feeling of stability.

What I wonder about is, will that 1.8 "compressed" stand the length of time? How is it in the snow? (I know I'll need snowies)I've only seen one report written on it and it was favorable. Any inputs you can share will be great, thanks! I should mention that I live on a mountain. My Bmw 330xi tanks right up it, infact better than my Jeep. Way better!

The car is pretty good in snow with the proper tires and the stability program (ESP). Sometimes it may be necessary to turn ESP off to start from a dead stop on ice or packed snow. The automatic has a winter mode which helps in starting off. The transmission will use 2nd gear.
