hello, as you can tell im a newbie, just got my car handed down to me, i was wondering if anyone knew how to replace the lighter cause mine broke, unfortunately i found out afte i had a flat at 3 in the morning and needed the tire pump....

i'd appreciate any answers

(PS how the ?!#$ do i change the ashtray light behind the coin dispenser)

lighter? don't you just remove it then replace a new one?

I think he meant that something is wrong with the socket into which he inserts the lighter (or the electric inlet for his tire pump).

Maybe it is just a fuse....since the light is 'out' also.

wait so it was the actual lighter itself? You get that at the dealer...or junk yard, find your car...take the lighter.

But, he said the tire pump did not work in the lighter socket...must be something other than the lighter.

But I hope he did know (Benzboynewbie) that you have to have the key inserted and turned in order for the lighter to work...

got it.....it was a fuse and yes im that dumb........thnx for the input thou.......and on a sadder note looks like i mite have to give the car up sisters coming home....reclaiming the car....g35 coupe black on black (i hope)
