Hello,

I been noticing my car- First start up of the day- There will be a light puff of white smoke coming from the exhaust. When I start the 2nd time- No more smoke etc...All normal..

The car runs great & the smoke will not appear again unless the car sits for 24 hours & I start the next day.

Check coolant level- ok, Oil level- OK(no milky substances etc), Temp OK.

Hmm.. Smoke have no smell.

I wonder what could it be?

Here's a video of it.

+2 Especially if you tend to do short journeys where the engine and exhaust system don't get thoroughly hot. By all means keep an eye on oil / water for a while but nothing to worry about IMHO. However the products of combustion are quite acidic and will eventually eat your rear silencer from the inside unless it's stainless. So a good blast occasionally should be beneficial.

Webster's Guide to Smoke Puffs:

1) White Smoke that dissipates immediately = Condensation

2) Blue Smoke that lingers and stinks = Oil

3) Black Smoke that stinks but doesn't linger = Gas

4) Brown Smoke that stinks, lingers and stains = Don't look now, but you've just filled her up with diesel fuel...:D
