The problem with chips like Speed Tuning, among others, is that I have seen no independent confirmation of their gains. Meaning I have yet to see anyone have the chip installed and then show pre and post dyno runs.

If I remember correctly someone recently sent their E55 with a speed tuning chip to Kleeman for some additional work including upgrading to the Kleeman chip. The speedtuning ECU ran very rich at upper RPM and made a decent bit less power than the Kleeman.

My personal feelings on the ECU is that until someone else proves their product stick with the bigger more established brands, e.g. RENNtech, Powerchip, Kleeman.
