All,

I am in the process of making shipping arrangements for a Case 406 with a 3 meter Schmidt plow mounted on a quick hitch. The blade in it's perpendicular position is too wide for the transport trucks so it needs to be angled enough to decrease the width to a little less than 8'. Does anyone have literature, or would anyone with this setup mind taking a few real world measurments with the blade angled so I can give the trucking companies the actual overall length when loaded?

Thanks in advance,
BWSwede

I am an agent with a large trucking company. Your blade either needs to be angled so that is 102 inches or less. Can you remove the bade a set on the back of the truck? IF the blade was laid flat on the bed of the truck could the Unimog stradle it? Also I would be glad to help you out with your shipment. [email protected]
