LED brake light & load equalizer install

If you install the load equalizers from ForMyMercedes, don't use the images from the equalizer description to figure out what wires go where.

The brown wire is ground. Count over 3 wires to find the rear brake light wire. Follow the traces on the board to confirm so you don't splice into the wrong wire (dohh). The wire colors are different on both sides.

Ken, IIRC the only time you will install the Load equalizer is if

you are using LED on the front and for the rear you don't need it[:(][;)]
I could be wrong[8)][:0]
the C needs it for the rear :)

It actually senses which rear brake light is "out" and can tell the diff between left and right, unlike our ML...

w/o the equalizer, the brake light just flickers and an error appears on the C's cockpit display...
OIC, thanks for clarifying;-) C is diffirent to our ML., so..

it will need equalizer front and back then.

[:(][8)]
only if you put LEDs on the front :)

LED brake lights are a safety thing (extra .5sec response time). Don't see a need for LEDs in the front...
oh yeah If you want to install LED on the front....

I have my LED on my brake light but not yet on turn signal[:)][:)]
why put them on turn signals?

They're faster than bulbs, but why would you need fast turn signals?[:)]

That's simple...

The much crisper blinking is more attention grabbing. Secondly, they're clear when off and provide for a much cleaner look. You don't have that orange reflection going everywhere. Lastly, you will never have to change them since they will probably never go out.

No duties, declared as a gift [;)][;)]. That's why I continue to give him my business! Just don't spread that around publically too much. We wouldn't want to get him into trouble for helping us out [:)]
