I have noticed that my 2006 R500 driver's seat was showing a "wear" line recently and it has now started to show cracking in the leather.

This occurred quickly after I noticed the wear line. :-(

Anyone know if there anything I can do/apply to it to stop it from getting worse or to repair it?

Thanks.

It is vinyl, not leather.

Maybe you should relook on how you get in and out of the seat. Minimized the rubbing you do.

Depending on where you are located. There are people that can fix like new within 2 hours for less than $200 bucks...

If he says he has leather then he does. My R500 also has leather but I don't have any tears. I do have cracks as natural leather tends to do. I apply leather conditioner on and it helps keeping it "wet". Leather is not supposed to be completely dry. Dry to the touch yes but not all the way through.
