I live in the UK however appreciate that shipping is not so expensive so location not a huge issue. Anyone recommend a good supplier to change my old interior with cloth seats to a red leather and red carpet interior?

I went through World Upholstery

World Upholstery, Made in the U.S.A., Carpet, Canvas Convertible Tops, Leather Seat Upholstery, headliners & door panel parts for Mercedes BMW Porsche Jaguar Fiat Ferrari and Alfa. 800-222-9577

and was happy. To your benefit, the dollar is pretty weak against the pound right now. But you have VAT.

Thank you i shall look them up.
I bought my leather seat covers from XKSS 20 years ago and they fitted well and have stood up well too. XKSS is now World Upholstery.

Only thing I would caution you, is that their colour codes are not same as the ones MB used. Bu the numbers used are similar, so there can be confusion. Have them mail you samples so you can be sure you get what you want.

If cost is of prime importance, there are cheaper alternatives on eBay. But I have been burned by one and had success with another. Probably not worth gambling.

Thank you for the supplier details, I will look them up also. I have seen a few on Ebay but as you say, can be hit and miss. Cost is not primary however in a recession every penny has to be accounted for and so a balance of cost and quality to maximise results and minimise expense is what I am after.
