My 98 SL500 has a problem with the windshield washer resovoir losing fluid. Any ideas on removal or easy fixes???

If I recall, there are 2 screws to remove it. Just take easy on the different hoses.

If the leak is minimal, dry it well under direct sunlight, and try two-part heat resistant epoxy.

My leak was from the grommet that holds the washer pump suction inplace. Easy change. I could just lift my reservoir up to get to the pump.

There's a plastic knob on the side of the reservoir. Undo it and the whole tank lifts straight up, with hoses attached underneath.

FYI, this is also how you get access to replace the headlight bulb on that side.

If the leak is from the pump grommet you can buy only that part for cheap.

Thanks, having you guys with all this info makes owning the SL soooo much more affordable and fun
