I have a crack in my rear header (exhaust manifold), the previous owner had an extra header that i got when I bought my benz. Is the front and rear header interchangeable?
I don't know if the spare header is a rear or not.
Do I need to remove the intake manifold to get to all bolts that holds the header?

Turns out the extra manifold I have is the one nearest the front
Does the 250 with Einspritze have the same manifolds as carburated engines?
Does the manifolds from a 280s or the older 6-cyl 220S fit my car?
Need to know what to look for, what fits and what doesn't

So, no one knows wich manifolds fit my 250E? I removed it from the car and it has been replaced in the past, it was from a carburated 280 with a steel plate welded on to the opening at the top.
I fixed the leakage and bolted it back on but i really need to find another manifold ´cos welding a sandcasted manifold won't last long...
Does all injected 6-cyl gassers from that era have the same manifolds?
