This could be the strangest problem I've read yet on the C.

I have noticed the floor where I rest my left foot when driving (to the left of the brake pedal) always seems to be wet UNDERNEATH my winter floor mat and factor floor mat.

I noticed this a few weeks ago when I was cleaning my car, but thought it could have been from snow that got caked off.

Well, it has not rained or snowed here for at least a week. I was cleaning my car today and it was wet again! The bottom of the factory floor mat is starting to fall apart. The car does NOT have a mildew smell, which I think it would if it were always wet.

Be that as it may, the floor was definitely wet, and it has not rained in at least a week.

Does anyone have any thoughts???

I will have to take it to the dealer, but will try to wait a few weeks when I have to take it in for a Service A.

Thank you for your time and reading. I look forward to anyone's response.

If it were summer I'd say the condensation from the air conditioner was not draining properly. I wouldn't wait. Water = rust.
