I am in the process of replacing my soft top. Can anyone tell me if there is supposed to be a rubber seal on the latch pin? Seems like I have seen one on some pictures, but can not find what it is called or where I can get one. One did not come in the weather seal kit that I bought when I purchased the top replacement. Thanks in advance.

I recall the long seal tucks around the pin. Mine did not have a separate seal either.

It should have a round seal. EPC calls it grommet. 107 997 16 81. Try Mercedes or google the part number. https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/1079972781.htm?pn=107-997-27-81-MBZ

You need to get used to using the EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog) especially if you have a Euro version. Here are a couple of online versions https://nemigaparts.com/cat_spares/epc/mercedes/ and https://mercedes.7zap.com/en/eu/fg/car/

Here are pictures of it on hard and soft top

Thanks Rowdie, I just checked my hard top - it is missing the grommet as well.

Since you are checking seals on your top, see if your front pins have two clear plastic grommets on the stainless steel rail. For some reason these get lost on some 107s.
