I have been having dificulty reparing a check engine lite on my sl 320.
We have change all plugs, wires, co2, camshaft sensor, cranckshaft sensor, gas filter, air filter, and then some.....
The lite is still on and lately the only code we get is a knock sensor.
To this we will change the moutor mounts on monday.
Question :
1-Should we change the transmission mount as we are at it?
2-Should the knock sensor be replaced as well.

Thank you all.

I would inspect the transmission mount and only replace it if there were obvious signs of wear. Whether or not to replace the knock sensor would probably depend on which code the controller stored for it.
