More Power for 63 AMG Engines
Adds up to 35 Hp and 40 Nm.

The KLEEMANN Exhaust Headers remove exhaust backpressure allowing the engine to breathe freely and thereby produce more power.
Supercharged as well as normally aspirated engines will benefit from the use of KLEEMANN high flow Headers. KLEEMANN Headers are available for most V6 and V8 engines - both the 24/32 valve (M272/M273) generation – as well as the older 18/24 valve (M112/M113) generation.
Now KLEEMANN introduces a high flow exhaust Header system for the mighty AMG 63 (M156) engine.

The new headers feature primary tubes with a diameter increase of 28 mm compared to the standard product. Furthermore the down pipes´ diameter has been increased with another 28 mm for an optimized air flow all the way out to the 200 cell metal cats. Both headers and down pipes are made from high quality stainless steel.

The result is an increase in power output of approx 7% or up to 35 Hp and 40 Nm of torque.
The new headers are available for the E and CLS as well as ML and R-Class models.

Contact your local dealer to put your name on a set of the new headers for your 63 AMG.

Wow, i'm surprised, it's not an equal length or a tri-y style? any observations?

That is a manifold as in: a pipe fitting with several lateral outlets for connecting one pipe with others; also : a fitting on an internal combustion engine that directs a fuel and air mixture to or receives the exhaust gases from several cylinders.

I think most people here know what headers look like, I am quite shocked at what K calls headers.

the reason is b/c of space limitations. there just isn't any room on the newer cars. I agree the only difference is larger primaries and much larged primary down tube, other then that its basicaly stock design. They could have at least curved the 2nd, 3rd & 4th cylinder primaries towards the exit flange so its not shooting out at 90 degrees from the exiting airflow. I am HIGHLY skeptical those make 35HP, but i could be wrong. I agree not their best work for sure.

It looks like it has the same length.
equal length as in each exhaust runner is equal in length. if you look at a lot of race cars and some BMW M cars, they use equal length headers. Equal length maximizes hp, while tri-y maximizes torque. (i could have that backwards, someone correct me?).

the out of the 35 hp quoted, 20 hp is probably from the improved cats. I think it looks terrible. i would rather thinner pipes, with longer runners than a big fat primary with virtually no piping. From what i have heard, manifolds like these are only good for turbochargers where exhaust scavenging is nearly nonexistant.

It seems that they want a 6-3 product to round out its market share of mods. I think it's more for show than anything and possibly a rush job. However, I'll hold final judgment until someone credible puts their car on a dyno to verify the numbers.

Plus, wouldn't AMG want to have kept this extra power for themselves?

Looks like a chrome plated stock set.....
